GRIDSOL, led by Cobra, has been selected as one of the favourite practices of the 6th round of the annual \u2018Good Practice of the Year\u2019 award within the category \u201cTechnological Innovation & System Integration\u201d.
\nThe Renewables Grid Initiative (RGI) announced one of the “Good Practice of the year” annual awards to Grupo Cobra at the Energy Infrastructure Forum in Copenhagen. The Deputy Director General for Energy, Klaus-Dieter Borchardt, delivered the trophies in all categories: ‘Communication & Engagement’, ‘Environmental Protection’ and ‘Technological Innovation & System Integration’.<\/p>\n

The nine experts who formed the jury elected one of the Cobra Group submissions as \u201cthe Good Practice of the Year\u201d. The Renewables Grid Initiative (RGI) is a unique collaboration of environmental NGOs and transmission system operators from across Europe.<\/p>\n

GRIDSOL is coordinated by the COBRA Group, with nine project partners from industry, utilities, research centres and energy consultancies. It has been running since 2016 and will finish its implementation phase at the end of this year.<\/p>\n

CROSSBOW is also among the jury\u2019s favourite practices of the \u2018Good Practice of the Year\u2019 award. This practice, led by ETRA, is also another of the winners in this category where Cobra actively participates as a European member.<\/p>\n
