Cobra expands its presence in Ireland with the award of a new 130 MWp PV project

Grupo Cobra has been awarded a contract by ESB – through its subsidiary Harmony Solar Meath Limited—for the development of the Milltown Solar Park, a photovoltaic facility with an installed capacity of approximately 130.24 MWp.
The project, located in Milltown and Moyagher Lower, County Meath (Ireland), covers an area of 121.5 hectares and will make a significant contribution to the country’s clean energy targets, supporting the transition towards a low‑carbon economy.
Grupo Cobra will be responsible for the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the solar panels and associated infrastructure, as well as for the operation and maintenance (O&M) services.
This new contract adds to Cobra’s growing project portfolio in Ireland, where the company is also constructing the 299 MW Poolbeg open‑cycle power plant, located next to the Port of Dublin, which will help ensure grid stability and support the expansion of renewable energy in the country.
