Descripción del Proyecto
Manufacture of an offshore substation for the "East Anglia One" wind farm located in the North Sea for Scottish Power Renewables. The construction work will be carried out at the Navantia, Puerto Real shipyard.
The main purpose of the offshore substation is to house the high and medium voltage electrical equipment for the transformation of the 66 kV power delivered by the 102 wind turbines (with a total power of 714 MW) to the 220 kV which will be transported to the ground network.
The topside module that houses the substation has an approximate size of 52.4m x 27.9m and is 20m in height. It sits on a tubular structure known as a jacket with four points of support. It will be located 85km from the coast.
The topside will be a four deck steel structure and will be transported complete for its offshore assembly on its jacket. It will operate without personnel on board.
