The re-powering of the 66 kV power line between the Perafort and Repsol substations by means of high capacity conductors type ACCC Lisboa, in the municipalities of Perafort, El Morell and la Pobla de Mafumet, in the province of Tarragona.
The re-powering consists of the substitution of the existing conductors for ACCC type annealed aluminium cables over a carbon fiber core with exterior glass fiber thermal protection.
Existing LA-280 conductor will be replaced by new type of ACCC Lisboa conductors.
The starting point for the overhead double circuit will be the substation gantries at Perafort. From these supports and by means of twenty-five existing pylons the first circuit will connect to the existing overhead - underground conversion pylon T28 on the 66KV S.E. Perafort – S.E. Repsol overhead line. The second circuit will connect to the gantry at the Repsol S.E.
