Descripción del Proyecto
The works included come within the scope of modifications to the double circuit electric power transmission line in simplex conductor configuration, type Condor Al – Aw, 220 kV.
Foix - Mas Figueres and Can Jardí - Mas Figueres.
Length 0,189 kilometres, at the entrance to the Mas Figueres electricity substation (Red Eléctrica) and the setting-in of 70 meters of a 25 kV double circuit underground line, property of Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya, FGC, modified to avoid damage.
The Mas Figueres substation is located in the 16 km of the N150 Barcelona - Terraza highway in the municipality of Terrasa, Barcelona.
These works were brought about by the rehabilitation of the previously mentioned substation due to its change from a single bus to a bus-and-a-half breaker topology. This required that the substation would occupy a greater area which in turn affected the pylons at the end of the power lines located near the existing take off structure:
Pylon T162 on the 220 kV Foix-Mas Figueres line.
Pylon T161 on the 220 kV Can Jardí-Mas Figueres and Foix-Mas Figueres double circuit.
Pylon T-0 on the 220 kV Can Jardí – Mas Figueres line.
The main interventions carried out are the following and were undertaken in three working phases:
- Setting in of the 25 kV double-circuit underground line: In the vicinity of the new location of pylon 161N was located a 25 kV double-circuit underground line, property of Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya, FGC. This power line needed to be modified to avoid its being damaged by the repositioning of the tower.
- Dismantling of the existing pylons T161 and T 0 and the dismantling and adjustments of the associated overhead power lines in phase 1. Dismantling of pylon T162 and modification of the overhead power lines associated with phase 2.
- Assembly of the new pylons T161N and T162N and their respective overhead power lines in phase 1: the modification of the power lines and the new lines associated with the phase 2 and 3 pylons T161N and T162N.
