Descripción del Proyecto
Historically these infrastructures were two essential facilities for agricultural development in the region of Murcia especially important given the serious water shortage that affects the area.
Constructed in several phases, their current production capacity is 30,000 m3/day (Águilas) and 42,000 m3/day (Mazarrón).
The Mazarrón desalination plant was the first in Spain to incorporate energy recovery units to reduce electricity consumption.
